Haha that's was what I thought until I see others getting 8 hours SOT in other forum.

Try to identify your unwanted wakelock and minimize your alarm wake up. Leave your phone idle 4hrs or more than that (you will get accurate reading BBS dumpfile) then check what's on your highest partial wakelock. Important, check your alarm and network as well. KWL nothing much you can do unless you know how to tweak your kernel such wake up threshold but please know what you're doing with tweak setting (battery life>stability>performance).
Three known cause that will shorten your battery life
1. Mobile data
2. Screen brightness
3. Scheduling / sync setting

Unwanted battery drain :
1. Bad app(s) example IM or Monitoring app for instance, keep awake your phone (this may be vary, depend how well / good developer build that app).

audio_out2 wakelock basically got to do with sound..i manage to get rid of it by disabling lockscreen sound, keypress sound if recalled correctly..

found out papago is crap. End up i  use back waze. Love it ever since.

That's the thing about software...it depends on the license clause and company policy. I suspect the answer is no but no harm trying.

I use a Defender myself, and prefer the functional protection over aesthetics. The built in screen protector adds some fricitiveness but does not detract from any usage scenarios.
It's using Huawei's own K3V2 CPU, so I am not certain about wide support but apparently there are a number of ROMs on Chinese XDA or its equivalents.
