Master nehalem176 any further advice?
Good ones, I probably still have some app that I haven't greenified or frozen. Probably the monitoring apps themselves are the culprit.

To know and be constrained, or to be ignorant and unleashed ....  rclxub.gif  sigh

Those wakelocks are caused by the phone itself i.e. mdm_hsic_pm0 (only occurs when I on DATA), "alarm_rtc", "battery-monitor", "alarm", "hsicctl0" for kernel wakelocks. While for Partial Wakelocks, "AudioOut_2", "MediaScannerService" and "FacebookService" (I felt strange, since my Facebook push notifications aren't working but it still causes wakelocks.

Haha that's was what I thought until I see others getting 8 hours SOT in other forum.  shocking.gif

user posted imageuser posted image

We even have a user here who claimed to have gotten 10 hours SOT (https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2646359&view=findpost&p=57278112)
*
IMHO, this user might be able to break the 11h SOT barrier by using the stock browser instead of Chrome to surf the web on WiFi and turned his GPS and music off.

Try to identify your unwanted wakelock and minimize your alarm wake up. Leave your phone idle 4hrs or more than that (you will get accurate reading BBS dumpfile) then check what's on your highest partial wakelock. Important, check your alarm and network as well. KWL nothing much you can do unless you know how to tweak your kernel such wake up threshold but please know what you're doing with tweak setting (battery life>stability>performance).
Three known cause that will shorten your battery life
1. Mobile data
2. Screen brightness
3. Scheduling / sync setting

Unwanted battery drain :
1. Bad app(s) example IM or Monitoring app for instance, keep awake your phone (this may be vary, depend how well / good developer build that app).
*
-no bad apps
-no mobile data
-lowest screen brightness
-disabled sync

But still wakelocks like audio_out2 still persists.

I own the Papago M9 for both Android and iOS (which proves i'm a loyal fan of PPG)

You think if I email Papago, will they allow me to upgrade to M11 for free? biggrin.gif

That's the thing about software...it depends on the license clause and company policy. I suspect the answer is no but no harm trying.

I'll give it a try. Their developers are VERY responsive smile.gif

Have to rely on 6th sense + eyes on the signboard and slow down.

There was once I took 3 wrong exits in a row with Garmin without noticing, went too fast sweat.gif

How is it even possible to turn right on a highway lol?

I did many mistakes while blindly listening to Garmin when I was driving on LDP early in the morning, went too fast and Garmin wasn't able to catch up.

I decided to open up my Yoobao 13k powerbank

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Looks legit. 5 x 2.6k mAh batteries. The 11k unit will have 4 batteries.
*
3.7v batteries

2600mAH x 5 = 13000mAH

3.7(13000/5) = 9620mAH (real capacity)

when raised to 5v

Yes, it managed to charge my Note 2 for 2.5 times.

I guess the 11k will offer 2 charges.
*
Not bad.

Last year I bought one from Qoo10, SGD18 for a 2x2600mAH battery pack with dual output (500mA and 1A)

Able to charge my Note 2 from 10% to full with some juice left.

Tempted to buy YooBao, but nah I don't use it often

Did you get one yourself ?

You tried it THIS WAY ?:  brows.gif

But it's a mid range phone, competes against the Mega 6.3.

NP, welcome to ask here, and if you've gotten a Note 2 recently, please add yourself to via the form in post 4. Read page 1 for an understanding of this great device.

I use a Defender myself, and prefer the functional protection over aesthetics. The built in screen protector adds some fricitiveness but does not detract from any usage scenarios.
It's using Huawei's own K3V2 CPU, so I am not certain about wide support but apparently there are a number of ROMs on Chinese XDA or its equivalents.

Nah, I don't put any phones in my pants, radiation is scary. My phone usually goes into my bag, or else it's in my hands all the time
