Quick question. Anyone tried warranty their rooted device before?

Note: I meant your device is eventually rooted and you unroot it and changed everything back to stock.

Can't recall though that is standard advice. At least make a sympathetic face at the counter tongue.gif

I bought my note 2 weeks ago and i just feel the power button is a little loose when pressing but still working fine. Is that normal?
*
Welcome you can look for another note2 owner and compare coz it could just feel loose to you. If it really is loose then u can go to the sc for replacement.

How much did u get your note 2 for?

Playing Real Racing 3 with WiFi off consumes about 40% of battery per hour.

1.2GHz, undervolted, max cores = 2
*
QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Jun 13 2013, 10:07 PM)
And the battery temperature would read 38'c
*
Consumption is high for this game. NFS:MW for 1 hour is only about 20-25%. Low CPU temp though. Means that the CPU/GPU should not be breaking a sweat but then the consumption is high.

Experts, what will happen if I format /system?

Will I lose everything from my internal SD?
*
I did a format via TWRP and everything was gone. That was using the Advanced option with Format Data.

Someone said a few days ago not to do that but rather use the Factory Reset option + Format Internal SD from the OS itself, then you can wipe cache and dalvik in recovery.

TWRP or CWM flash may have a risk of bricking your device or messing up your IMEI it seems.

Basically flashing anything is prone to lead your device to become an expensive paper weight tongue.gif

I'm not going to flash anything that requires me to wipe my internal SD for the time being. Don't have the time for that.

silly me thinking faster than typing.

What I wanted to say was TWRP or CWM wiping* ........ rclxub.gif
