2. The text string may be thought of as a number. The larger the value, the more recent.

@joytest,

Don't think I can join the BKT since i got class + assignment for the whole day...

Been thinking to switch rom that doesn't look too samsung-ish... I am on MIUI v5 for few months yet I can't find any rom that suits me better than this.

Still yet to try the dpi changer though.. 240 is the optimized resolution eh?

If true, this time Sony will give Note 3 a run for its money:

http://www.phonearena.com/news/More-source...-in-tow_id43515
We've been hearing about the upcoming 6.4" "Togari" phablet by Sony for a while now, and even had an article dedicated to the rumors about it on forum threads back in January.

Now two independent sources are claiming what they heard from reps at Sony events in their countries - that the Togari phablet is real, and it sports a huge Full HD display, meant to take on the Galaxy Note III. As far as the speculated stylus silo goes, the Togari is expected to also allow drawing on it with everything, even a pencil.

============

Pencil, I don't think so coz it will leave carbon trails on the screen and the carbon dust WILL SCREW UP YOUR ELECTRONICS.

If it has an ACTIVE DIGITIZER + stylus, then it will be a good contender against Note 3. Again, Sony is the Apple of the Android world, and they tend to lock their shit down tight as evidenced by all the postings of "be careful" in the XZ thread.

That is extremely distasteful.

Thanks. I wonder why my wife note 2 is still at 1. Try software update (under about device in setting) but started already run on latest.

Ok everybody, the Master Kernel Index is compiled

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key...UE&pli=1#gid=18

It is similar in structure to the Master ROM Index. Statistics to come later. I will try to finish off the next survey version.

Will merge the current survey with similar choices for kernels and also a freetext field for SOT as a rough indicator.

**ANNOUNCEMENT**

Survey v3.0 is up for your testing first.

Integrates ROM + Kernels, allows selection of DATES for Nightlies or stuff that takes the date for versions.

Also includes SOT as a selectable value.

Statistics are not yet up, but please try it and DO TELL ME what you think !!!!

Survey form here (prefilled some values, that is why the URL is so long):
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_0Z4xjD65E...ry.1147594433=4

Results list here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key...NXcW51Tnc#gid=2

Poke around and input some test data, any values.

hooh888 as a dev can test some boundary values which you think may occur.

Just to have a clear idea regarding flashing and rooting. I have few questions:

1. Let say I'm using dr. ketan's method 1 and use TWRP as recovery as suggested by benny888 to rectify the disadvantage of method one. Do I still need busybox?

2. I'm planning to use stock ROM. Is it possible to change my status to Normal instead of modified without unroot?

Thanking helper in advance.

You will be prompted to download n install busy box if the app need it. If you use titanium backup this is needed. So not necessary if you don't need n don't know what it is all about

2. Double negative question ? U mean with root?
I never bother but I remember there are some long winded methods to correct it. Cannot remember. I think solution in page 1. Try look for it

2. Yes, I mean root. I want to stay root but use stock ROM and make my phone status NORMAL instead of modified. Is it possible?
