I noticed, if I charged my phone (from the battery being lower than 10%) at 700mA or 1.2A, my SOT would be twice as longer than if I charged it at 2A.

Anyone noticed this too?

Yes. With similar usage pattern...

Monday: Was in a rush, started charging the phone at 3am in the morning with 2A and went to bed. Woke up at 6am and unplugged it, left home at 7am and started using it since.

Tuesday: Charged the phone overnight from 12mn with my Galaxy W 0.7A charger and went to bed, unplugged it at 6am and started using at 7am.

Today: Charged the phone overnight from 2 am with my 2A charger (but I unticked both 'ignore margin' and 'unstable power' for today) and GCC shows me a reading of 1.2A.

So, Monday's battery life was so terrible. It lasted up until 4pm with 2h30m of SOT, 5% battery then I decided to swap my data SIM card to my cracked Note 2. Tuesday, similar usage but half the call time; SOT almost reaching 5h with 20% remaining. Today, lecture day, didn't use my phone much, I did 2h13m SOT with 63% battery remaining or about 36 mins / 10%

*I charge with my phone in airplane mode
*I use my phone in blocks of about 10-15 minutes
*Frequent replies to Whatsapp/SMS
*DATA/3G is on all the time
*screen is set to about 20% brightness/100% outdoors
*battery temperature averages at 35'c during usage

Wakelocks are pretty much the same everyday, 45m to 1.5h of mdm_hsic_pm0 (this is because of I turned on data) and 30 mins of PowerManagerService, 20+ mins of AudioOut_2 (probably accumulated from all those ringtones)

There's still the white bar there

How do I get them back again?

I might need to use Facebook for important stuff in a week's time (hosting some event, need to manage FB page and need to reply ASAP for enquirers) hence need instant notification.

The last time I had to resort to my iPhone and eventually I did a wipe to my ROM.

Apps/Services that I froze:

Still not working. Tried uninstalling too.

I asked a friend to post something on my wall and I made sure all other devices/computers that had access to my FB account to be closed or disconnected from WiFi. Still no notification.

The screen is not as saturated as our Note 2, not AMOLED?

Oh, the i9205 is 16GB, i've tried it at Singtel this evening.

And yes, it had 12GB+ internal memory space as compared to Note 2's 10GB+

Sadly I don't.

I only froze those apps/processes and greenify-ed Airdroid

It makes a good GPS for driving thou.

TFT means that I don't have to squint when driving under sunny conditions. AMOLED screens are dark even at max brightness. Thou the Note 2 with Perseus kernel is already considered bright when compared with the S3.

Just disabled zRAM for my Note 2s and they feel so much snappier when I multiwindows

Yep, 0MB and 0% Swappyness for zRAM in Stweaks on Perseus kernel.

Sadly nope, I think i'm not going to wipe it instead i'll use my old iPhone (the 3 other Note 2 either same problem or suffering mad-long-delays for each notification)

I can't wait for 4.2.2 for our Note 2.

Flashed Wanam v7.0 (4.2.2) on my S3 which is left collecting dust.

What i've noticed:
Reduced input lag
Better RAM management despite without zRAM

and what I noticed was zRAM/SWAP is only useful on devices with low amount of RAM like my S3. It only slows down devices with more than enough RAM like our Note 2.
