So i'm planning to apply for a Mass Comm Degree course at Curtin University since my college (KDU) no longer offers Murdoch's Degree Program.
However, i feel like going to either Curtin Sarawak or Curtin Singapore as it's more affordable for me and i don't need to waste money on expensive flights.
However, i do hope that either or both provide the same quality education of its Australian counterpart. So i want to know that in comparison to Curtin Australia, which of these two provide better education standards? Or are they both as good as Curtin Australia?

Well, I can tell you that the certificate you'll get is from Curtin Australia. As for teaching quality, I think it won't differ much. Pretty sure the headquarters won't allow a large difference in standards between its campuses.

Staying in Malaysia is better, the campus is more conducive, less distraction and charging Malaysian fees

1. A difference in teaching quality between branch and headquarter is likely to happen, e.g. Nottingham University. However, the difference is insignificant if you don't rely on lecturers' spoon-feeding teaching.
2. Where is your hometown? Choose the one that is closer to your hometown. Parents might not be happy if you rarely go back to home.
3. Depend on where you are going to work in future. If you wanna work in SG, you should choose Curtin SG, vice versa.
4. Living expenses in Sg are much higher than MY.

QUOTE(indahjaya @ May 27 2013, 01:18 AM) Study in Curtin Malaysia because MQA only recognise Curtin Malaysia not Curtin sg if u work in malaysia It's true that MQA only recognises educational qualifications issued by local universities/colleges but......if that's the case, then all overseas graduates would be suffering in Malaysia. Overseas graduates are still able to work in Malaysia because the certificates are issued by the foreign universities in a foreign country. Problems will only arise if it is issued locally and it is not recognised by MQA. This post has been edited by Blofeld: May 27 2013, 11:27 AM

As to the quality, within Curtin obviously the Bentley Campus is better as they are the ones who design the course.

Curtin is corrupt... https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2282455/all Curtin Australia. Applicant for Australian PR bribed Curtin staff to forge his IELTS results. Sounds like the corrupt employee is Malaysian. http://www.thestar.com.my/story.aspx?file=...0830&sec=nationCurtin Sarawak. Students bribed a lecturer to pass them. What about Taylor's UniSA?
