Getting Started

Ok here we go. This is my 7th month of Stronglifts 5x5 Program (Slow, I know. T_T). Tackled my first PR attempt for Squats yesterday and got to 242 lbs / 110 kg for my 1 rep max.
Age: 17
Yesterday's workout:
24/5/13
Squats:
Sets 200 lbs x5 225 lbs x 3 242 lbs x 1 225 lbs x 3 200 lbs x5
Next workout will go back down to 195 for 5x5, lose the belt and progress.
Bench:
Sets 115 lbs 5x5
Passed all.
Pendlay Row:
Sets 110 lbs 5x5
Passed all.
Post Workout: 1 Scoop of MyoFusion Elite Athlete Protein Powder + Low Fat Milk + Banana

Squats:
195 lbs 5x5
Don't think it was a very good session. Wasn't feeling it. Last set's form was kind of iffy, so I'd rather be sure and count that out. Will use same weights again for next workout.
Press:
80 lbs 5x5
Damn these are getting heavy. Just tweaked my form and my elbow joints are all out of whack. Made it through anyway, but just barely. Add 5 lbs next time and see how it goes.
Deadlifts:
95 kg 1x5
Kept my head straight to my neck, tweaked posture. Felt really heavy, but managed to do all 5 reps consecutively without stopping much. Will keep going.

heheh, late report:
29/5/13
Squats:
195 lbs 5x5
Bench Press:
115 lbs 5x5
Barbell Row:
110 5x5
So I fell sick, had food poisoning, was throwing up all day, etc etc. Anyways it hit me that I wanted to build muscle more than strength anyway, and so I looked around for a different / more intune to my goals routine.
Started today on
3/6/13
5x5 for all:
Squats 60 kg
Inclined Bench Press 40 kg
Bent Over Rows 45 kg
Standing Shoulder Press 27.5 kg
Dumbbell Snatch 7.5 per hand (Still learning how to do this one)
Romanian Deadlift 60 kg
Need thoughts from you guys if this routine looks effective.

Agh tried this routine out for a week. Totally too much while trying progressive overloading. Gonna switch back to Starting Strength tomorrow.
