Dear fellow forumers.
My Perodua Kelisa aircond failed recently, only hot air comes out of the aircond.
Sent to workshop, they say must change compressor.
They said compressor is RM200 only, but cannot change compressor alone, as other parts are faulty as well.
Those other parts are condensers and other pipings, total up to RM1,200.
I would like to know, does this RM1,200 for aircond repair make any sense?

QUOTE(mADmAN @ May 25 2013, 07:57 PM) Depending on the parts n how many parts....but typically when aircond goes kaput, prepare abt rm1k +/- to get it fixed... I myself just spent 1.1k on my kenaris aircond....compressor + cooling coil + misc. Ex-kelisa also the same....cost me 1k+ Just make sure to get the same compressor...ie oem...recond...anything else ur engine will be very heavy when ac is turned on I see. Thanks dor the reply. Wuuu I guess this is the downside of having an old car.
