Playback Codecs, Have trouble playing a audio/video file?

which codec to use that can view all the anime files~~
currently dunno y my codec crash~~ cant view subtitle~~ i downloaded CCCP RealAlt Storm matroska also no use & which player is the best?? |

there is no additional sub file,
