i don't have any problem using norton before except the reminder to update the program sometimes really annoying...but i usually update the software by intelligent updater, quite easy actually....

but i heard kaspersky is quite good, how about the update, is it easy to get? icon_question.gif

I used to love Kaspersky until i realised one day my comp is not so up to it. It's getting too old for Kaspersky.

Kaspersky is the best out there i know. But i've moved from it to AVG and now using AntiVir which i find it to be kinda okay.

Anyone using Antivir?

I find it is hard for me to get a reliable Anti-Virus that works with Window Server 2003.

I tried AVS, it does not allow me to install on my OS.

@katunX
Lets just say that Kaspersky Servers just dislike Fake/Cracked/Warez Type of Serial/Keys. SO, pay if you intent to use it. (That's why I stopped using it. wink.gif )
A Free alternative is AVS (Uses Kaspersky Engine and Definitions).

hmmm all the antivirus i have use b4...norton, mcafee, pc-cillin, AVG and Antivir
The one that eat allot resource is Norton, mcafee and pc-cillin scanning not that infective....

AVG and Antivir for those who know how to care there pc then should not be problem of using them...Because i heard that some people say not that good...anyway it not a resource eater and depend on u....

For better protection try out Bitdefender 10 and Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 this both is worth buying original...Currently i using Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 only cost about RM 55 it's expire date until next year...depend when u buy and u use it....always up to date...

LOL. Talk about quality, anybody being monitoring AVG AV's Quality? Some of us feel it has been deteriorating, any changes by now? Cheers!

P.S. No offense to any AVG User. I use AVG Anti-Spyware, you know, and it is Good! smile.gif

Hi Billy,
try NOD32 at www.eset.com. The standard 32/64 bit file will install on the Windows 2003 standard.

All antivirus eats ur pc's resources badly and chokes ur pc's speed performance eventually. Unless u are using your pc for pure hosting or else u might not want to touch any antivirus especially Norton.
