Beach Road stretch from Bugis to Lavender MRT. I stay near to the Nicoll Highway MRT in Beach Road. Single room 500, double room 600. Around Nicoll Highway will be like little Thai, but they are generally friendly people.

suggest you go east of bugis for green or esplanade if circle... maybe 4-8 stations away..

O, Concourse is 2-3 minutes walk from Nicoll Highway MRT (circle line - orange colour). Lavender MRT will be 15 minutes walk (green colour line). So you can find house around this 2 MRT stations if you commute to work by MRT. Stay at Beach Road then you can walk to work.

I found mine through agent. The house I staying full already. 500 include utilities, but no air con. Go to the first post in this thread, got few links for rooms provided by TS.

Food is cheap if you eat at the nearby food court, 3-4 dollar for lunch and dinner. Cheapest 2.5 if you really want to save.

legally yes, but like what sientong says, it depends on material.. and i also believe it is important whether you made money out of it.. eg, play it at a commercial place, use it at karaoke... etc etc, if it is for personal consumption usually they wont go after you..
