QUOTE(seantang @ May 28 2013, 08:50 PM) His profile definitely doesn't fit the Singaporean Core. And probably not considered a good complement to the Indian, Hindu part of the core as well. Might even be looked at as a negative or destabilising/antagonistic long term presence. yea... that's what my boss suspects too.. haha.. |

QUOTE(goldconnection @ May 28 2013, 11:06 PM) With 5 years exp in financial industry, how much can I expect in Singapore? I'm looking into investment analyst vacancies. I tried to search for the salary survey report in those recruitment firm, but the range quoted quite big... yep it's fair.. or maybe more.. hehe.. I'm getting more than what i'm earning in malaysia 1 to 1 comparison..So if I put the amount I get here in Malaysia and change the sign to SGD, is it fair? |

Hi guys,
Need some advice on transportation. I need to go to pasir gudang from singapore by taking public transport. Anyhow, I have asked my colleague how to go there, they ask me to take a taxi to Kotaraya then take local malaysia taxi to the destination. Anyone took before? I would like to know is there any other places to take the taxi who took passengers to Kotaraya other than Bugis? hahaha... Noob here.. not a singaporean or a johorian.. lol.. |

QUOTE(LilyBud @ Jun 6 2013, 05:32 PM) I got a job offer in Sg with the offer 3k. Was it a lot or was it little? I have a offer from Sg and 2 from Msia. Which is better? The idea of leaving my KL life and work in SG is a bit depressing But I wonder why so many people wanted to go Sg and work?? Sorry but i think it's underpaid... in Singapore with that price... but what field you are in? In engineering... 3 years experience.. can get around 4-5k.. depending on the company... i think 5 years should more... I alwiz see dollar to dollar conversion.. maybe you wait for a while.. and apply for more jobs in Singapore?I have 5 yrs experience. If dollar to dollar vout conversion, obviously I got less. I want to know from those who are already working in Sg, izzit really so much better working in Sg? (best if you stayed in KL before and working in Sg now) |

QUOTE(LilyBud @ Jun 7 2013, 11:44 AM) Hahahha.. I have rejected the Singapore offer I feel so relieved. One less option to consider. But I construct the e-mail with a very heavyheart. Opportunity don't knock my the same door twice, if i give up the opportunity I got in M'sia, I might not get it again. Same thing with Sg tho. But I do not want to compromise my happiness. I am happy with my Swift so won't be changing. All the best in your future undertakings..! hehe... |

QUOTE(zephyrus9999 @ Aug 15 2013, 11:44 PM) did alot comparison liao.. etoooo... Bus 2 way at Rm113 Airasia currently got promotion, so to-fro will be Rm153 inclusive all charges considering plane only takes 1 hour ==>total 2 bus 5 hours each ==> total 10. The 8 hours that i can save definitely work the extra Rm40. Way to go air asia Actually take plane u need to be there early, and etc, then when you land have to wait for a while and etc... haha.. kinda same like bus. and you need to find transport to the airport. (if near airport never mind lo) hehe. But bus also depends, if not traffic jam at the custom, then ok la.. if not.. u may need to travel up to 8-12 hours... haha.. I normally take bus because I also buy last minute, plus the custom check is a bit lose, plane very troublesome sometimes not to mentioned cannot bring a lot things. =) Only go back by plane, when I do not have much items to bring and it's cheap.. haha... |
