Should I expect to have the same or better salary since the currency rate between them is almost the same?

how do you guys normally go for an interview when you are in Malaysia? There is a company invited me to have a chat next week so does that mean i will have to stay in hotel? Should I keep staying in Sg and find job within that 30 days staying period?

My friends all say no to me to stay for few days due to the landlord

Any recommendation for the hostel? I should be fine as long as the room is a non-smoking room
