Then hp depending on yr plan 50 pm? Add all that up is sgd750. This is not yet include food, trips back to msia and incidentals. Dunno whether you can save any money or not. Too insecure. If for whatever reason u lose yr job then yr dead. Literally.

If you have zero personal potential to grow beyond RM2.5K vs S$1.5K, will never get a car, will never commit and will never pay rental in MY = then choose the RM2.5K.

This could easily be the worst job offer i have ever seen. You are better off working with another company in sg or just stay in Msia.

based on past experience, work permit holder can open saving acc in POSB but u can only do it in POSB Chinatown branch.
the branch only open on weekdays and normal working hours, so its quite inconvenient if u are not living or working nearby.

what i know is POSB doesnt allow WP holder to open bank account with them unless there's an exemption in chinatown branch like the other forumer had pointed out.

min deposit, S$500. if your company pays in cheque, you can use the cheque to open the bank account too.
passport + IPA will do. not necessarily the card.

Share something good with you people.. try and look for Frank account by OCBC bank, no minimum deposit required if you're below 26 year old

Ohh im heading there to check on accommodation for a day only, and hopefully can sign the contract on the spot. Thus, will not be bringing any luggage. Ive checked thr will be 2 transit if use MRT, totals around 2-3$ which is negligible. Calculated the day trip budget will be ~Rm200 which i think is fair lahh.. Only thing i fear that landlord will ffk last minute and that would waste my whole day time at Toa Payoh lol.. Actually anyone here at Toa Payoh can be my emergency contact just in case? lol.. On a side question, how much does the data roaming costs for digi if in SG?
