QUOTE(shiyau @ Jun 24 2013, 11:47 PM) Hi taikos.. *raise hand* I think your chances looks good, unless screw-up from HR side on the headcount, package, etc.I've been invited to an interview by a company. The first interview went quite well and I can see the interviewer likes me very much. He has also said that if I were hired then he'd be my supervisor. However, I still need to have an interview with the department manager before I could secure the job. So he said he will forward my documents and resumes to the department manager and if the DM wants to have an interview with me, the HR will contact me. *The interview lasted for 45 minutes FYI* » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « According to the first interviewer (supervisor), if I pass thru the DM and If I were selected, my application would still need to be processed by the HR department but however, the process wouldn't be taking too long (in around a week). BUT According to the DM, he still need to have a meeting with dunno who and who before confirmation of my application. The process takes about 2 weeks to a month. (much longer time) Anyway, I might be worried too much but do you think I still stand a chance of getting the job? As what my frens said, my chance of securing the job is much much higher as I made it to the second interview after all. What say you? Or unless the dept manager still need to get approval from higher up. Dept manager will oversee Supervisor, who will oversee you. What he wants to know is, your attitude, the way you present yourself, etc. whether you can fit into the team and dept or not. He won't care much about the technical aspect or work knowledge/skill much, because that will be handled by the Supervisor, which already interview you. |
