the figure getting more expensive, more worse if sell on ebay
*
Expensive ya.. . I've been planning on getting one for the longest time but still can't bring myself to pay so much for a Hot Toys Iron man. sweat.gif

But if the diecast one from Hot Toys or Play Imaginative is of great quality, then maybe I'd cave into the temptation. drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

Hi, any possibility of getting Iron Man 3: MMS197D02 Mark XLII Diecast Series in Malaysia? I missed the pre-order but I see it's still available for pre-orders overseas.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

To me, it's quite good!!! And I'm a big fan of the original...in my mid 30s so Robocop was my childhood idol...and the reboot superseded my expectation!

Thanks for the mini-review. Paul Verhoeven is one of my favourite directors. So many of his movies are fun to watch as a child. When I rewatch as an adult, you see so many layers that one missed as a child.

Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Robocop are all superb. Glad the remake did not disappoint. The Total Recall remake was such a bore compared to the original, 'was it a dream and he got lobotomized? or was it reality? the debate still rages on to this day.'

Yeap no where near Total Recall remake / reboot smile.gif

I even had the same nergasm when first watching Ironman on cinema! Efx was almost perfect...top notch casts...and so many Easter eggs from the original Robocop!
*
Iron Man... talk about nerdgasm when he donned the Mark II. Everytime I pass by XLS shop, I still stare at the Hot Toys Iron Man figure... drool.gif

Note: 3Zero is a rather unknown entity in the 1/6 world.... it's some-what related to 3A, but not quite at the design level of HT...Most people have pointed out these prototypes are very rough....

3A's Real Steel Bots are pretty well design though...
*
Yeah, might have articulation and QC issues. Sure Hot Toys will jump on the bandwagon since RoboCop seems to be a hit.

Omygod... I'm going to get this after missing out on Mark 42. At least the shoulder issue should be fixed by then. Loved the 1st Iron Man movie. 2nd was ok, 3rd was bleh... doh.gif

I have no idea. One thing I do know is that I would preorder two items on that line up.
I really only need one Optimus Prime for display, and this would be awesome for it. Unless they make a sixth scale of the movie version.
Of course, this version is definitely a homage for how much I loved the old Transformers movie.
Also I just need one quintessential Iron Man armor, and seeing how the first Iron Man was just absolutely cool for me, Mk III diecast is perfect.
*
I just wonder whether they're using the Mark 42 diecast model or using their older plastic model. Coz I don't want the pink panties issue. Also the new Mk42 model has a switch to drop the leg out a bit more to do the Landing Pose. Quite cool.

what is that 3 bottle of baby thing
Didn't you watch the movie? When Murphy went rogue, his partner had to feed him, so she used baby food cos' that was similar to what they were feeding him at the police station. laugh.gif

It's nice but it's no Iron Man. Still considering the Mark III diecast but this version, articulation still too limited. They should have used the Mark 42 model on the Mark III diecast... doh.gif

Not sure, heard that the 1st batch, the arm broke with minimal movement. There are some pix that shows the difference between the good batch and the defective one.

Anyways, I didn't pre-order the Mark 42, so can't get one even if I wanted to.... sad.gif

I don't want to buy from overseas, esp with the arm issue thingy. Besides, it might get caught under Customs. Leceh...
