Drowning of a particular item in a thread is due to popularity, interest, trending, ownership of the figure, a some-what-democratic posting process in the thread.

As the Portal figures are just in the Pre-order phase with only pictures from the manufacturer, one would not expect much discussion on it.

Whereas Mk. VII has just arrived, of course people are excited about it, hence more posts on it.

This thread has been slow about 2 years back, but still progress rather steadily. There are basically 3 events that prompts more posts 1). PO announcement, 2). HK releases/General releases, 3).Availability in the local market.

Sure, if you want to splinter this thread further, manufacturers that produces 1 or 2 figures (or a few) a year will truly "drop off to oblivion" in the threads ranking....

One of the points of the thread is to share news and feedback on "higher end" action figures with people of the same or similar interests (or branching to wider similar audience, so-to-say). Dividing that audience (with multiple threads) further will dilute the interest group making it smaller. If a particular manufacturers is popular it's not without merit, it will be subjected to the same critique if their quality drops.

Not with 1/6 cars and robots (though some HT's Iromen parts/heads can be switch around).....but a unifying theme would be modularity and ability to customise all the parts, clothing, and bodies to your liking regardless of manufacturers, That's the biggest point that pique my interest in this Hobby, excellent head sculpts and good design are the other two

My Mark 7 helmet head magnet seems does not stick well, it just drop off when i plug out the helment (yellow part) when i want to on the light. looks through the Hot Toys official site, realize that this must be their failure of stick the magnet to the head firmly...

gonna find someway to stick the magnet firmly.

The metal-piece on the face-plate are very prone to falling-off (silver bid on top)..... if yours is missing... either find it or replace it... It's not a failure per-say .... it's a new design to hide the switch/batteries within the head... Helmeted HS like the one with special movie promo BD Mk. 7 will still use the conventional 3 magnets instead of one to stick the face-plate

Gothmog quite badass! Don't miss 1 to complete the line

this is not the piece i mean, it is the one stick with the head "red head" that drop off.
Luckily it does not miss it, when i first unplug, and plug back, it just been stick together with the yellow piece magnet.

Gonna find some strong sticker/glu to stick it back to place.

Super-glue will do....

Yes... or you can use tightness/friction, wrap tape around it and stuff it in...
