Hi guys.

We all know that the Magic Mouse consumed a lot of batteries. I used Energizer but only managed to last ~1 month. So I decided to buy a rechargeable batteries. Wanna ask your opinions on this.

1) Is Apple Rechargeable Batteries any good? How long does it last per charge?

2) What brand did you use for rechargeable batteries other than Apple's?

If you are looking for very cheap + long lasting rechargable batteries, I suggest u go to MR.DIY, i already bought many such cheap rechargable batteries (made in china) and so far so good, it cost only 20 ringgit for 2 AA and the charger.

They last a lot shorter though. You get what you pay for.

I use eneloops myself since I already have lots of them lying around...

I used to buy Energizer AA batteries, they only lasted for 1+half month and I had to buy new ones again and again...and then one day I went to MR.DIY to buy cheap red lanterns for my office CNY decoration, I saw they have some cheap rechargable AA batteries and I grab one, and since then I never go back to branded batteries anymore, they are the same and sometimes last even longer....but I know most MAC Users won't believe in cheap staffs...

i use only ikea 8.90 batt. works fine and changed once a month. it's cheap so dun care

I use Energizer and Eneloop batteries... so far i'm happy with it...

now Energizer re-reachable bat in me mouse...

I use them a lot for photography so I have them lying around at no extra cost.
If it's only for powering a mouse, a cheap one shouldn't matter as much other than needing to change more frequently or a shorter lifespan.

I'm currently using a different mouse though. The Cyborg Rat 9 which has it's own custom battery, but need to change everyday. Incredibly annoying, didn't know that before I bought it.

Sometimes I replace the apple mouse with my HP-cabled-mouse, it has got 2 buttons and no need to worry about lifespan of batteries at all...haha

Eneloop FTW! =) I've used them for photography, electric toothbrush, remote control, etc. Even for my MS mouse. And yes, it's on http://www.techgarage.my

(Original) Sanyo Eneloop has my vote I use the dedicated charger though. No knock-offs!

i first use energizer. lasted 1+ month. cost RM6.20 @ 2 pcs.
tried phillips bought at tesco. lasted 1+ month. cost RM2.50 @ 2 pcs.
ever since, been using philips for the past 3 months and counting......

no. disposable type. alkaline based.

topic is discussing about rechargeable ones.

I'm using Energizer and so far it's work fine. Already use 1yrs ++.

On my hand energizer batteries (non-rechargeable) can last up to 1 month. Other batteries only two weeks. Now I'm using one of those induction charger. A bit expensive but in the long run really worth it.

Now me using Sanyo XX Eneloop 2500mAh, it last longer than my previous Enegizer 2450mAh.

I just bought magic mouse last month

Sometimes the cursor didnt follow when i move the mouse
Is it the hardware prob?or the battery is loose?

either eneloop or energizer.

never go for eveready though. m.mouse contact is very sensitive. somehow eveready batteries the contact at the +-ve terminals so loose. got lot of mouse disconnected during used.

changed to energizer after that, problem solved.

I think it's just laggy. If battery loose you will lost connection with your magic mouse

No Worries la like NoKusshon said, it always lost connection once in awhile. common problem for magic mouse.

BTW I am a heavy user for this, my best choice for rechargeable Sanyo eneloop 2Hrs Quick Charger is good for this mouse. This mouse drain battery like a dracula.

Eneloop ftw. Actually Eneloop = Apple (rechargable battery). I use POWEREX to charge and calibrate my batteries. It's important to identify dying batteries.

Does MR.DIY still sell cheap rechargable batteries?
