here is the story:

Desc:
Try to cone me $200USD of egold. He claimed he transfer RM780 from Maybank to my BCB account. He sent a screen shot of transaction and say that i'll receive the money on 2nd May coz 1syt May is holiday. I refuse to transfer him egold until i get the money. He blackmailed me to give 50USD of egold first or else he will complaint (wut type of complaint i dont know). Then i said to him i want to call Maybank Cust. Service to confirm his transaction. Since then there's no reply from him again.

then i say i'll only send the egold after i got that money.. plus the screen shot is really fake-looks.. i donow whether it's really from m2u or not.. coz i never use the m2u.. here is his screen shot sent to me..

i suspect this user is duplicate from gadgeter and chubb^^

why?? user jetyap claimed that he has pm'ed by alancydic via msn messgr using email digi88mobile@hotmail.com and he gives his bank details:

which is same as gadgeter / chubb^^ bank details...

Now not yet 2nd May yet wat? How would you know he con you? Have you contact Maybank regarding the transaction?? What if on 2nd May you really receive the money? Well so far u lose nothing yet. Isn't it's too early to launch a complaint against the buyer now?

.. one more.. bout 10pm or around that time.. i receive a sms from dat b**** which makes what i tot of him become stronger.. n i confident he's totally ass-scammer..

n lets say.. if i receive RM780 bucks under this damn ass name.. i really-totally-fak will give it back to him n really dont want hav trade with people like this..

for inter-bank transactions, it will sometimes take 2-3 days for the transaction to be completed (meaning that u have to wait some days to receive the funds).

anyway, how many days have passed since he said to have transferred the cash to you ?

the account number is from sarawak 1....

yeah i know it takes 2-3 days.. according to the screenshot.. i shud receive it on 2nd May..

but here the trade is not done.. it is cancelled..

coz i know he really dont transfer the money.. by his action keeping silence when i said i want to call maybank cust. service.. plus he send a 'fak2 scheme sms' at nite after that..

btw i actually dont believe on that screen shot.. edited n save it in low quality.. can make n cover superimposed easily..


btw.. to be fair n pro.. i'll wait until 2nd of May to confirm his conned action.. or else.. can i call m2u Cust. Serv to confirm this transaction? do u think m2u will reveal this kind of info? if they can do.. i better try..

Hi thread starter,

alancydic is written on my personal notepad as a scammer. It was written there for about 2 or 3 month ago. I wrote his name down from some other e-gold trading thread where someone says this alancydic is a scammer. I believe there was other forumites has been cheated by him before but no report has been made.

Although i might be wrong, perhaps alancydic himself can come here for clarification
