Quick check, will it be possible to trade up my fully stoned Fast Odin to an Ace Odin (clean or stoned)?

just a fast question, for the rainbow slime... do we need to max the level of the guardian to be reborn, then only can reborn with rainbow slime... or can straight away reborn it when it is level 1... and then only cont breed it to level 70?
