Passing the JLPT at any level requires being able to read some Japanese and of course the best way to learn to read is reading stuff. Since it’s normally pretty hard to interact with native Japanese (more like 1 way communication since japanese can't speak english well, vice versa), I thought it would be good to create a thread where we can practise the language among us.

I could use help from experts in this forum to help me pass my JLPT 3 to improve my reading speed, retention rate and conversation.

みんなさん、いらしゃい。このスレによる、日本語で話しましょう。これは中級なんですが、誰でもいいと思います。遠慮しないで、参加してください。

話題がなければおそらく自己紹介ぐらいになってしまうので、おもしろくはないと思います。だから、何か話題にしましょう。もし興味が上がってきたら、日本語の会話のフォーラムを作ってくれそうです。

もし英語で話したかったら、おねがいします。使い方よく分からないので、方法を確かめて報告します。 notworthy.gif

誰かの間違えを発見する時、間違えた人の気持ちを考えるように優しく直してあげてください。全部は直さない方がいいかもしれませんけどね。直して欲しくない人はお先にみんなに知らせてください。

そして、間違えをなくすより、盛り上がって楽しんで話し合うのはこのスレの目的なんです。

もし、別の話題に話し合いたかったら、自由にどうぞ。

お楽しみにしています rclxm9.gif 。よろしく!

Where do you live? If you're around KL, you may actually borrow text books + exercise ranging from JLPT 5 to JLPT 1 at Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL), Mid Valley and print it in the library or somewhere else.

Doesn't like this method?

If you're registered through JLSM organization, you may borrow their books as well.
You're given 2 weeks period just like JFKL library just that you may renew your due date in JFKL for once more, an addition of 2 weeks accumulating a total of 4 weeks of borrowing while there's no renewal rule in JLSM.

Ermm, your question is out of my reach. I even don't know there is a project MRT v8 in Kajang hmm.gif

Bandar baru bangi is the cheapest place while pusat bandar is the optimal location.

Intending to join JLSM tomorrow, lol~

53 for the first year and around 24 for subsequent years. Another 12 bucks for using the learner library. Price is quite reasonable

Hi,

I saw in their website the price quoted are a lot different than the one you have stated above.

http://www.jlsm.org/uploads/1/0/0/9/100996...lass26may13.pdf

Do you mind enlightening me on this? Thanks icon_rolleyes.gif

I am interested to join the course as well.

Ermm, I meant basic membership and fees for learner's library. Your link is about the fee for participating in the JLPT tuition course. They are quite different smile.gif

Great! I didn't know I can actually borrow the text books in Mid Valley. I bought quite a few textbooks but rarely used it because the content is more for classroom environment, whereas I studied myself.

Thanks for the info, definitely gonna try this! notworthy.gif

You're welcome biggrin.gif
Always glad to help enthusiastic one. The actual place is not really at Mid Valley shopping mall but rather at an office block which interconnects with the mall through footbridge.

Here's the full address and telephone number for reference.
It's located at the 2nd block from right when you're facing the office from Mid Valley exit.

18th Floor Northpoint,
Block B No 1 Medan Syed Putra Mid Valley City,
59200 Kuala Lumpur,
Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
+60 3-2284 6228

There will be a few guards at the reception and you'll be asked to write your particular, date, reason, etc. in a book before taking the lift biggrin.gif

however, do note that the site covers JLPT studies.

Yes even though L3 was mean to bridge the gap between the previous L3 and L2, it's not really a hard test.

N3 is afterall, a bridge between the old level 2 & 3. It's definitely easier than N2. N3 won't be hard if you have studied the materials/syllabus thoroughly.

Take your time to read. It's more important to comprehend what you need to learn than memorizing the materials just to pass the test. (Assuming you intend to sit for the upcoming JLPT test in June/July)
