Why the employer called u up for interview...but then told u that ur salary expectation is high? Like 650 - but I put 1.6k? They are just wasting our time.

I was informed @ jobstreet with at least 1.8k - 2.3k before i join the company. But then, when i am here, they pay lesser than that ! (i'm not in probationary period anymore)

if u r fresh grad degree .. or diploma with exp .. then i think its ok ..
but u have to look at company itself, big or small? multi or local ?

but then again, find another company that can pay ur salary as expected

KL - Write your expected salary at around 1.6k onwards.
Klang - Write your expected salary at around 1.2k onwards.
Terengganu - Write your expected salary at around 800 onwards.

Cool ?

Don't let the company saves cost. If you think you are quality and worth to be hired, don't make yourself looks cheap. If they still not willing to pay you high salary, go other company.

lol i usually odnt bother companies who awre not willing to pay my expected salary.
my salary that i demand is market standard and i make sure that i am able to do those task list. if they cant afford to pay me then they dont deserve me.

i usually ask for 100 below the standard. if mnc then higher offcourse but normally i mentain rm 100 lower to reduce negotiation as i hate that part of the whole employing process.

If they cant afford to pay me then i will look elsewhere.
but offcourse always make sure that your asking salary is within logical limits lah. Dont put 2-3 k for jobs like those in jaya jusco and such.

yes its acceptable
but then usually mnc's pay that much. target mnc's.
Usually u can put 1.8-2k which sounds just about right for a fresh grad.
good luck

if u have the qualities that they want, few hundreds more than std salary isn't much. they'll pay for it.
