for topic code, you need to refer to your address bar to get the topic id

basically the topic code is similar/same to the URL code

Click me! <== does the same thing as above, but of course the text you have to type is greatly reduced using the topic code method

for the snapback code, you can view it when you reply to a post on the particular id post that you're replying to.basically each quoted post already have the snapback within the quote unless the poster removes the snapback codes

the example values given by the BB code help probably does not exist anymore

erm for topic its ok.. but for specific post in the topic?

I thought that snapbacks are auto generated for each quote?

yeah i know.. but how to use it beside of quote? coz i need to link certain post from the edited 1st post..

it seems that the snapback code only worked if you type it in a single line
i've fixed it in my earlier post, but thanks for pointing it out

to point to a specific post in a topic
at the upper right hand side of each post you can see Post # ????
click that and there'll be a pop up where you're able to copy the link of that specific post
