Want to ask all the technic sifus here...
Which is a good current production big set to start on? So far only had a smallish set but felt no love for it, maybe the big one will pull some heart strings... |

QUOTE(yuying1 @ May 25 2013, 08:43 PM) QUOTE(aba9785 @ May 25 2013, 08:59 PM) i second that Thanks! Actually the only thing pulling me back is the lack of remote control.... but 2000+ pieces compared with 9398 or 8043... like super good deal.... - This set is the largest TECHNIC set to date. - This is one of the first sets to have pneumatics and Power Functions combined. Earlier models, however, could add Power Functions only to drive a compressor pump for the pneumatics. - This pneumatics and PTO shaft can be channeled to the front or rear with a switch, allowing the crane and winch to be used on either the front or back. - The Unimog features a new kind of suspension, discussed on the LEGO Technic blog page. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/8110_Mercedes-Benz_Unimog_U_400 |

QUOTE(Caryane @ May 28 2013, 10:56 AM) Hahaha dont worry if you are using DHL Express, i think mine is the cheapest shipping method by DHL... either they mistakenly send the parcel to a neighboring country, or lost in war when they travel pass some countries with unrest. Have shipped a few times by DHL Deutsche Post. One word always come to mind, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Some of my shipment came with seals broken, box kemek, etc..... Ya lah, always got big haul and senyap senyap with good deal hehehe I have stopped using them cos i love the boxes more than the lego. |

QUOTE(Mr. Alby @ May 28 2013, 01:43 PM) I might just buying it online since it can arrives at my office doorstep... you talking about the ship? Quite heavy the set, import in wont save much compared with rumoured price of low 400s (after discount), but get it super early, unless of course TLG do a "relatively early" release like superman and lone ranger sets...Just found out that the weight at Amazon is 10 pounds !.. |

QUOTE(maxilife1 @ May 29 2013, 11:09 AM) SW fans! This set looks like a cross between goblin king and attack of the wargs. and it looks too simple to be a UCS. But then again, SW rake in big bucks for Lego. SImply come out with something also ppl will sapu. worse case scenario, sell at 50%!!! This set is awesome! ![]() DSC07310 by mexxbear, on Flickr http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-star-wars-...-confirmed-set/ |

Heck I think during sale in Spore can also get <600. batman AA is about 680.. hope i can find some of the summer sets when i go there in september yeap.. it sure is! QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ May 30 2013, 03:15 PM) Me! Me! Me! why dont u do a CS on 10220. Price it below 350. press your supplier la since u give them so much business. If you need volume many of us here surely can make up numbers. 100 sets easy peasy la, many underwriters here... plus your own >20 sets, everyone wins!!! |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ May 30 2013, 03:46 PM) Hmmm... I won't say it is impossible but have to really find a cheap source in order to achieve price below RM600 for AA. I am paying below RM600 for it at the source but once factor in shipping and tax the cost the numbers are no longer magical... lol! 30 sets of 10240 is not 100 sets of 10220 la. 10240 still new la, obviously price wont come down la, and what only 30 sets?! LOL... Haha! I suck at bargaining so can only press my supplier so much... Seriously if I can do a bulk order for 10220 at that price I would but still no luck with price... Thanks bro! Hope your issue get resolved soon too! 10220 has been around for awhile now, obviously dont move as fast. Some more got 100 biji... dont try dont know... hahhahaa... Do CS/charity la. we all here support u!!!! |
