I think Curve TRU still has a box of Cargo Train. At RRP of course which is at RM799.90.
*
The 7939 yellow cargo train is really selling at premium here shakehead.gif (USD180 =/= RM700-800 ? )
It's twin-sister is 7938 red passenger train is selling at good price locally (USD130 =/= RM400-450 +/-)

For ratio comparison, 7939 should be about RM580-630 only. Can be cheaper if tycoon here can do GB whistling.gif

It's elder-brother is the discontinued 3677 red cargo train (USD160)

Wah! Lego train family tree! rclxms.gif

LOL ... current generation trains I'm ok. Older ones I don't know much. Before 3677, I think there is twin cargo train, red & green.

the pricing sounds so similiar  hmm.gif

i hate some those seller, after a week asking the price, when wanna comfirm buy. he say no more stock. new stock coming price higher and the new stock reach on next week. so coincidence  mad.gif  icon_question.gif
*
bro, I'm not siding with sellers, but if the price is good, it will be gone fast, sometimes within hours/minutes of listing/asking.
Not only for Lego, for every other things in life also.

unfortunately it's not a box set. It's various parts and bricks that i order from bricklink. He put it in seperate zip-lock bag and i'm really sure some packet can easily drop out from the box
this particular seller : Littlefigs. beware!

and i just check their rating ; 1 complaint in past week and 2 complaints in past month and 10 complaints in total????! shakehead.gif

i should have check details of the rating, not base on completed transactions! cry.gif
or should i blame the courier guy? kastam definitely dont take part in this because i didn't see any mark by them saying this parcel was inspected by them.
*
I believe it is the seller fault for using an oversized box, not enough padding inside to be very firm, and too little masking-tape to wrap it.
Forwarders/logistics will squeeze as much as possible into containers, and looks like your box is unlucky to be at the bottom-most, and get stacked probably by hundreds kilograms of other stuff... hence the box is like that.

How much is the 3677 ? hmm.gif

This will be running for photo of the year for this thread LoL laugh.gif

Sorry for that bro. Pos msia are idiots. Most of the time they just chuck the parcels here and there. Be glad they didn't pocket the entire thing.
*
I guess the pic is 2013 Lego Pic of the Year Award already, unless someone can /k/ bestest him.
However, not trying to defend Pos Malaysia, the box could already been squeeze like that from forwarders in USA -> KLIA. Pos Malaysia take the effort to try seal it up with their masking tape.

Perhaps, it could also be Kastam tear open the box, inspect, and pass it back to Pos Malaysia. Hence Pos Malaysia have to help to seal it up.

anybody gonna order anything from BL?hope can tumpang 2 XL motors....i tried switching the gear for the rock crawler, but the L motor is not powerful enough to move the car beyond 1 feet....haha
*
It'll be expensive landed in KL. Weight is much heavier than normal bricks. Size is fat. I am bringing in another 2x for my own use though. But the price is not cheap.
You mean on flat ground, it move for 1 feet and stopped ? Any gears grinding ? Or just 'not moving' ? What if you try to push it slightly while RC it forward, does it move ?

... not forgetting extended family of 9467 ghost train (ghost of ancestor), 4841 hogwarts express (cousin Harry), 7597 toy story train (little cousin Woody) and 7898 cargo train (grand uncle).

I think that expands the family tree further. tongue.gif
*
Good one. I didn't go further back than the newer RC PF controller trains, incl those 9V-tracks.
Else got few more like 7897 white passenger train (auntie) , 10173 holiday train, 10170, Santa Fe, BNSF, rclxub.gif

Mind I suggest try not to use rechargable battery because the voltage current is inconsistence and may cause the electronic stuff to spoil faster? smile.gif Just sharing from what I learn from the past.

Which brand of rechargeable you used previously? I'm using Sanyo Eneloop and it's quite stable when I test with voltmeter, with and without load. hmm.gif
