mine is type 1 cowl...is your set a recent purchase? Maybe newer productions come with type 2 cowl?
But type 2 cowl looks better IMO

hey, u got the same problem i encounter when i bought the batman with type 1 cowl. they sent type 2 cowl instead.

so i email them and luckily they sent replacement... in USD7 punya envelope just to send to me the cowl.. lucky..

so i guess u may try ur luck by emailing them. i hope you still didnt submit the feedback

i got the kingdom chess set.. not sure if the same design as the battle pack...
but i do notice some quality issue with my chess set  

it appears the printing is not consistent throughout the mini fig
not sure whether they use different paint or different design/color

but in short = quality is not up to expectation
thus i still prefer the S9 Heroic Knight, so will get more of them.
