they always display the last 3 or 4 digits

for example
thank you for using your maybank amex
xxxxxxxxxxxx7841

if the last 4 digits are the most important one
why they censored the front number instead of the last 4
it doesnt make any sense

as they also will have their shop receipt and we get one customer recepit
whats the point?
