@eimane, pls share the name of the retail/shop.

at least we will be aware of these names in our transaction notification.

AMEX it seems has no other security protection. dangerous. vmad.gif

the fraud transactions always hit in wee morning, local time.

so the actual fraudster could be at other countries/continents.

YummyFriedOnions quickly call Maybank to report the fraud and get a replacement card.

imo, AMEX has very lax in security, unlike Visa/MasterCard.

last i chcked, these fraud transactions are "floated", i.e. pending to be processed.

so, immediately call MBB to terminate card and block the transactions so that it doesnt go thru fully (ie. charged to your account).

if went thru, you need to file for complaints to reverse the charge, which is tedious, and not guaranteed.

janson_kaniaz monthly max cap is RM50.00.

mbb calculate the 5% rebates per eligible transactions. if total rebate sum is >50, it will only take those summed transactions <=50.

Gee....! You don't spend rm500 on petrol, phone/Internet bill and grocery in a month ?  blink.gif How I wish I can like you and I would rather ditch my WISE card for it  tongue.gif
*
i mostly cross rm500, but the qualifier is too high le... "a minimum of 10 retail transactions with at least RM50 per transaction"

i dont have >10 transactions with each one rm50 or more. sweat.gif

Do take note : Last Weekend of August falls on 31-Aug-2013 (Sat).
Your swipe on this day may fall under September's rebate calculation, even though performed in August, depends on actual Posting Date

finally can see my PayPal in M2U.

so from Post #2, cashback is based on posting date

now in M2U, my paypal's transaction date is 18-Aug-2013 (Sun) but posting on 19-Aug-2013 (Mon).

so, i wont get the cashback for this, right?

Maybank should blacklist popular fraud sites from being transacted in the first place.

publish the fraud sites and made aware to maybank customers.

now, they are in wait-n-see attitude. think about it, how many transactions that were approved/successful without card owner's consent & awareness?

too bad Maybank does not do anything proactively to educate their cc customers.
