I have been using MBB2Amex to pay for AIA but now that it only rewards 2 TP instead of 5 was wondering which CC would give better rebates.

If your transaction falls on weekend, you can still earn for the 5% rebate.

The 2x TP was recently revised under education, insurance and government related transactions.

AIA's PJ and JB branches do not open on weekend and I couldn't find any online payment providers that includes AIA.

I just checked, TP inflation really happened. Hehe. Lucky I did redemption right before July end and managed to get 18 x RM50 vouchers. SAve a couple of hundreds. biggrin.gif.

Just had a look at the new TP redemption, wah inflation rate of 20-40%. Luckily I have use up all my TP points to redeem Metrojaya vouchers last month.

Can refer to this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2819336

Based on the list, these are the accepted ones under Insurance category:
Etiqa (not for installment)
Etiqa/Motortakaful can be used through Phone Customer Service
AIA Insurance Collection Counter - Menara Axis, PJ / Menara AIA
Akademi eTiQa - Jalan Melaka

Unless you can use Amex on weekend to get the 5% rebate otherwise only earns 2x TP.

That's what I said earlier, I cannot comment on the 5% rebate because that is solely depended on merchant's transaction time.
