Why would you want treatpoints to last so long? Also got depreciation, and you don't earn interest for saving them up.

The point is that not many people swipe that much like you!
*
More or less swipe not an issue. Even you get 1 million TP each year, if you keep it and don't use what benefit?

If you exchange for voucher this year RM5,000 can buy you more than next year RM5,000 due to inflation. Also if this is not additional spend (i.e. you would buy anyway) you've effectively converted it to cash. Cash earns interest, can be invested, bla bla.

Unless you just like to see big number when login M2U then whistling.gif

Is it possible to redeem against GST more than once? Or do it much earlier? My GST was charged last October (redeemed at that time) so can I 'pre-redeem' for this coming Oct? Or redeem multiple times (effectively use TP to pay my bill?).

Doubt so, but thought no harm to ask.

You can't outsmart the banks.

They don't do losing business.
*
You're saying the bank earns more than 7% from my spending on AMEX when I always pay in full and on time (one day before due date) and never pay them interest before?

Their charge to merchant can be 7%?

Reason bank can make money is almost all CC users aren't so syiok pay on time (or so calculative only spend weekend). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's they key point ... YOU only ... this world not only you use this card ... IF everyone that uses this card stop using once spending reach 1k .. then yes maybe the bank will lose money .. but most of the time the spending will be more than 1k ... your 7% has a cap of RM50 .... their charge to merchant doesn't have a cap .. of course we dont even need to talk about those that only pays minimum .. or better still doesn't even pay minimum

and yes .. bank never loses money ... same as casino ...
*
Your 'you' if referring to one person then can consider I 'outsmart' the bank? Just pointing out your assumption not true in every case bro.... kalau average to all users different la.

Hmmm, I just did a test, and it is https (refer screenshot attached).
So, your experience also without MSOS? Wonder how could that been bypass/compromised.
Was feeling safe with the MSOS security measure, but seems it could be bypass by hacker, then it is not so secure anyway.  doh.gif  vmad.gif
*
MSOS is implemented by the merchant. If the merchant doesn't implement then you will not be SMSed. Its not that its bypassed.

Merchant who do not implement this run higher risk because customer can file dispute with AMEX and Maybank will not pay the merchant the money, so real merchant will have incentive to do MSOS. Of course con job merchants won't. For us, as long as we realize the transaction and complain, we don't lose much.

Yes, understand that MSOS is merchant's choice to implement.
But for this site they DO implement MSOS. I received MSOS sms in my genuine transaction before. But not trigger on the fraud transaction.
*
Because the fraud transaction is not from that merchant?

If you don't fill in and later kena charge how?

my sms alert will takes about 2 weeks to be activated according to cs
damn

If you want to be paranoid, even with tape also no help la, he can remove and stick back.

Once you use a cc by passing to some staff you already 'break' your protection jor. Just watch your alerts and statements (M2U shows transaction history) enough.

I would like to redeem guardian or tesco voucher using maybank treatpoints.
Does anyone know if I can redeem at maybank center with the rate 12500 points to RM 50 instead of redeem online with the rate 13750 to RM 50?
If can redeem at maybank center / branch, please let me know which one also.
Thanks ya.

same here... every time they call to increase my limit i decline..

when travelling i ask for temporary increment of my limit.

i've been using the 2 cards almost 4 years now... never offer me plat. card also..

In my case I applied for/got Plat straight away that low CL. Actually maybe they auto-upgrade it for me already, lazy check. Usage also always <1k except exceptional circumstance.
