I can't understand these card companies. Putting the security code on the card is like putting your PIN number on your ATM card

your point is? you can spend today to get points to redeem at the rate which is 5-7 years before?
you can hide the back 3 digits. certain websites do not require the 3 digits behind to complete the transaction. such as apple store mys

If you are still confuse and wanna play safe, there is no harm to pay the outstanding balance first. After your familiarize with the statement format, then just pay the statement balance.

I read there are changes in TP recently by MBB. Govt payment , insurance etc ,no more 5x TP?  now only 2x TP.
Just to confirm with you guys, TNB bill online payment with MBB AMex at MB2u still earns 5x or only 2x TP now?

Just kena fraud case again late last month. This is my 2nd time already within a year, and if I include the supplementary card under me (one fraud case), it's 3 cases altogether!

Same modus operandi. Happens early in the morning (3am-7am), all online shopping. First SMS will be for a small amount, usually a few cents. After a few minutes, then it starts to roll, by the thousands. The last fraud, amount was USD5k. Bugger purchased designer clothes online @ TOTOKAELO.

Thank God, on all 3 cases, the amount didn't go through and it was not reflected on my account. Thus, there was no need to do any refute or filling up any forms, just a call to the call centre to cancel current card and ask for a new replacement. The hassle of getting a new card is killing me though.

Now its a habit for me already, first thing when I wake up in the morning, check my HP for any SMS from MBB.

It's a tragedy that AMEX doesn't have the MSOS code, just like their VISA or Master. Really need to be careful when making any payment with your AMEX cards, especially at restaurants, when they bring to you your bill to the table and you give it to them. Just need to take photo of the front of your card and you're in big risk. 4 digit code also at the front, no need take photo of the back of the card.

for swiping at petrol pump machine vs. caisher at kios, RM200-RM300 will be precharged & there is a 2-3days delay before the actual amount pumped is billed and the balance refunded back into the cc account.

So if i swipe on weekends, will this charge only be billed on monday/tuesday? Anyone has exp to share? Tq

Hi sifus. I had bought something online and paid in USD last Saturday. And the transaction is not reflected in my online transaction history yet. I wonder when will it reflect since the transaction on yesterday night already reflected in my maybank2u acc.

i have just called over, they need me to drop by their card centre and bring along my IC and salary slip which is really troublesome for me.
