i used to have a big dispute issue with mbb credit card against etiqa. i signed up two policies with etiqa from an agent and i paid under auto-debit procedures. this procedures need to be renewed every year. after 2 years of paying, the third year the etiqa agent felt lazy to contact me and she fraud my signature to renew my etiqa policies without informing me.
i felt threatened and unsecured. i discontinued all my etiqa policies although i will suffer a loss of about rm14k after my 2 years payment. then i reported to mbb credit card centre to cancel off the latest unauthorised transaction together with all the proves that i have.
they took 2 years to settle the dispute (with consistent pressure from me) because the etiqa staffs are not cooperative with the mbb credit card staffs. even the mbb credit card staffs got fed up with the etiqa side, so in the end, it is mbb credit card department that paid all the disputed amount to me from mbb account under their goodwill (not etiqa).
you won't believe how much hassles i went through throughout the 2 years, plus the interest charges and late payment charges have been accumulated when i refused to pay for those unauthorised transactions. of course those were all paid under mbb credit card department goodwill too. so just for precaution... although they are under the same group, but totally different management.

Everyone knows AutoDebit with having such dispute when comes to refund or error in amount. You already knows the risk so you have to prepare for it.
Thats why one off payment is more secure, u will get sms alert once the other side have charge to your card. Received any weird transaction in sms, call up CS and stop. I get fraud transaction last year for the Amex and i heard it is quite norm.
i choose to use this combo due to 7.5% rebate from Amex CC and 10% rebate from Etiga. The person who having my CC details are recorded for future reference should any fraud case appear.
