QUOTE(zr125 @ Jul 7 2013, 04:10 PM) Yes, what NewGUY said is correct. But you will also enjoy some rebate on the spot, depending on what product u buy. So the extra charge will end up lower. For my 24 mth ezypay, if I'm not mistaken I paid less than RM50 after the rebate. Anyway, comparing with the 24 mth interest-free installment, it's still worth it. |

QUOTE(NewGUY @ Jul 11 2013, 10:15 AM) Yes, they will display the list of charges for different credit cards and different installment schemes at the counter. If they don't you can ask them and they will tell you. |

Thia may sound stupid but how do I link my MBB CC to m2u account? I Google-d and played around many times with m2u but still couldn't find the solution.

Btw, does anyone know if I can pay for ACCA exam fees or annual subscription fees using MBB Amex online? They actually accept Amex but when I tried using MBB Amex, it showed error.

QUOTE(tbheng @ Sep 11 2013, 11:00 PM) I tried paying for exam fee for "SOCIETY OF ACTUARIES" on Sunday in August with CID at the front of card. Got the sms alert immediately. Yea, I paid using OCBC and noticed the posting date was 1-2 days later. I guess Amex is not a good choice for transactions involving forex. But the transaction still shown a few days later with Transaction Date on the following Monday, missed the weekend rebates. Guess SOA does not process the payment on weekend. But I thought it will take the sms alert date as transaction date. And got a very bad exchange rate for USD @ 3.3702 |

Sorry, these might have been answered earlier, but:
1) are the transaction date and posting date the same for TNB bill payment using amex via M2U? if not, is there any other way i can earn the 5% rebate? 2) can i still pay Maxis bill by phone using amex during weekends and earn 5% cash rebate if i did not register my amex online with maxis before this? |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Oct 5 2013, 12:26 PM) 1) yes for me, though i always try to pay on a sat instead of a sun, just to avoid any "delay", but the few times i paid on sunday also no issue. in fact, i receive instead sms saying that i've paid the bill once i click "pay". Forgot to check this forum yesterday. Gonna pay now, hope that there won't be any delay.2) no, i dont think u can pay without registering. i think the most common issue is not about registering ur card, since u can do it online. the issue is that when u pay by phone (automated) it will ask for ur PIN, which is actually the 6 digit password that u used to key in in the older version of their website. if u did not register to the site before this (before the change to use email address and alpha numeric password), u won't be able to pay by phone. it's reported by some forummers that u cant register the 6 digits PIN anymore now, even if u call them up. In that case I have to pay Maxis bill using other cc. Goodbye to 5x TP. Anyway, thanks for your info. |

Maxis can be paid via M2U using Amex. Posting date and transaction date are the same.
Weird, last Sunday I could pay using Amex. Now I don't see any option for payment method. This post has been edited by crazyito: Oct 13 2013, 02:38 PM |
