Probably temporary problem. I repeatedly use my AMEX at Umobile Sunway Pyramid, no issue.

Almost all Petron accept Amex and counter and pump. I pump with Amex there every weekend. Just that yesterday their CC system was down.

All Petron that I've tried accept AMEX (Subang, LDP, Bandar Utama, Setapak area almost all Petron I've tried). Even the old Mobil/Esso that still exist also accept.

If autodebit gives 5% discount its better than 5% cashback from AMEX, doesn't 'eat' your RM50 limit per month. And you still get the 5x treatspoint.

Or pair it with WISE for total 15% discount + rebate (actually effectively less if charged amount is the 95% amount, so your total discount+rebate only 14+%. thumbup.gif
