I am looking to buy retina ipad mini with amex.. Called to epicentre, they charged 3% for maybank 0% ezypay. But I forgot to ask if 0% ezypay can be charged to amex or not. Anyone know?

it does, but make sure you choose USD as the payment currency.

And in Qatar, the credit card transaction don't require sign anymore, they need card holder to enter the pin. Very secure.
But what about our country? Still using sign where fraud case still happens.

To be fair, we are still quite advanced in this area, being chip based. In the USA, they still swipe and most of their cards are chipless.

You can continue to protect our failed system, until you are a victim on this, then you will know the pain.

Something funny to me when using Amex in Singapore. 2 merchants told me if my transaction amount is < SGD 100. No signature required. But most of the merchants still ask me to sign? Double standard and procedure

For umobile, visit service centre and ask them to swipe amex. Tested at Sunway Pyramid and BTS.

Maybe coz i would say out of 10 merchants only 2 did not need signature.
But Amex can have feature like Visa/Master (touch and pay) will be good

Is payment using Amex for Time dot com fibre optic is not safe? This is what maybank officer comment when i was applying the Amex card. Appreciate if someone could feedback to me.

ok thanks btw regarding apple online msia, i only received the sms transaction alert 10 hours later but the time and date mentioned in the sms is correct which is 10 hours earlier, so got my rebate & 5x points

You need to register TAC for your cc at the ATM.
