Yes, I used it at Petrol station this afternoon. Last two weeks I paid at Tesco last few row, counter number 20+ I can remember exactly and it failed. Today to avoid the problem again I purposely move to counter number 8 it failed again.. sad..

on a relevant note and abit OT, yesterday, I was trying to swipe my mbb2card visa (amex not accepted), also cannot go thru. Terminal keep failing. resorted to HLB Wise instead. at least i can get 1x points with mbb2card visa, using Wise was useless cuz non-Category merchant.

95% covered by Wise liao (~RM6xx-7xx). remaining 5% on mbb2card Amex (Unifi + TNB, sometimes groupon/paypal/watsons). nothing extra for Watami card

where's your insurance, car service, dining, etc.? still got room for watami...

lagi talak. insurance per annum payment. car service every 6 months. no dining. each doesnt fall in same quarter period. difficult to manage. just pay it off lumpsum is simpler.

with recent mbb 0% bt, now i charged those big amount (no CB from mbb2card amex) to HLB Wise and BT back to MBB instead.

Just came back from Tesco Scott Garden, swiped my AMEX card for RM100+, no problem.

Also, paid PDRM/police traffic summons at Balai Polis Traffic Jalan Tun H.S.Lee using my AMEX a few days back. Small consolation for paying my outstanding summons, can use my AMEX card instead of cash....

Those holidaying in Langkawi, Haji Ismail Group duty free shops accept Amex.

Coco Valley, langkawi Saga do not take Amex.

nice mostly starbucks will accept AMEX as their terminal are AMEX and the receipt header printed AMEX .

Long time didn't visit this thread and didn't notice Apple Store accepts AmEx these days. Colleague wants to buy an iPad after she gets her Maybankard2Card.

I was checking if Machines is accepted and looks like yes. So, we have Apple Store, Harvey Norman and Machines. Does anyone know if Apple Store also processes during weekends? Or like Dell which doesn't process payments on weekends?

Anyway, Mawar Hospital in Seremban says it accepts AmEx but when my sister tried to swipe it on last Saturday, it didn't go through despite using Maybank terminal. Not sure if the person in counter knows how to use it or they actually don't accept it and the staff just simply answered us. My sister got pissed off and changed to her Visa, it works.

Conclusion: Mawar Hospital Seremban doesn't accept AmEx.

Also, Pasaraya Rapid, Seremban 2 doesn't accept AmEx.

my previous experience when buying iphone5 two years ago, they will process manually for the payment..
meaning they will call you to verify your cc information only will proceed to charge your card..
I remember they call me on sat evening..
not sure they do the same now or just special case because they are launching new iphone during that time..

Got it. I also cannot recall if anybody called me when I purchased my iPad Mini Retina in January during the Red Friday sales.
Though I charged it to my OCBC Ti, I cannot recall if it went through automatically or somebody called to confirm on my purchase.
If it is SOP for Apple Store to call for every purchase, then I'm pretty confident that will get the weekends rebate.
