some tips on Biostar Tforce6100-939 overclocking.
1. give a good cooling to your NB and SB. passive heatsink definitely not enuff if u want to hit 300++ FSB. 2. the bios is NOT matured yet. i myself cant POST after 290 Mhz. this is done using the 1st bios released by Biostar. 3. some says, switching to 2T, will give xtra Mhz, i dunno. i still stuck at 290Mhz, no matter 1T or 2T. 4. use Clockgen to outleash the power of this mobo. 350 Mhz ++ is simply piece of cake. 5. play with the divider, some RAM like 133Mhz, some like 100Mhz. 6. u are encouraged to play with bios. here's a good page to start. http://lejabeach.com/Biostar/6100-939/6100939bios.html 7. hang around here, they are very helpful.. http://www.rhcf.com/sisubb/ultimatebb.php/forum/53.html ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by dinster: May 7 2006, 12:08 PM |

QUOTE(Jian_yi @ Jun 7 2006, 12:55 AM) Biostar TForce-939 07/06/2006 moded bios, based on CU51M410.RH, self modded ? Change log: * Change onboard GeForce 6100 GPU speed from 425Mhz to 475Mhz (overclocking) * Add onboard Geforce 6100 series Temp. Sensor detection ***This moded BIOS NO TESTED, use it for your ownrisk!*** what kind of extra temperature detection ? currently my Tforce6100-939 only has CPU Temp detection. |

just wanna share my experience on onboard LAN.
last time i had a problem with it (driver is invalid, like corrupted, LAN cannot be detected etc) . now it's gone. onboard LAN working like a charm. so for those who are still experiencing the LAN problem. do this. 1. download the latest chipset driver from nvidia.com in my case, it's nForce_430_410_8.22_winxp2k_english.exe 2. flash the latest bios in my case, CU51M410RH.zip hope this helps looks like i have to sell my DFI NF4-D Lanparty This post has been edited by dinster: Jun 11 2006, 04:47 PM |
