Flashed my E398 to the latest firmware but doesn't make any difference.

I miss the good old 50Mbps speed. 1800 tower is my area is slow for weeks, I have this feeling is due to congestion... sad.gif

2600 still flies a bit though, at around 33Mbps. sad.gif

yeap, i guess that should be my case too, tempted to flash router now but got other people using so cant afford to bring down network just yet ~.~

is the lower performance on router is due to lacking of power? if so I might need to find a Y-cable to solve it, if it can be solved in the first place

Very likely due to congestion sad.gif

Other countries LTE is still lower than the speed you are getting, my expectation is not high since Maxis mentioned that they have 130K users sad.gif

I'm more interested to see Celcom LTE's expansion.
How can a huge important area like KL Sentral is not within the LTE coverage? mad.gif
Plus, SeaPark as well, been waiting...

Right now we're using cat3 LTE.

Cat4 gives you up to 150mbps dl vs cat3 100mbps dl. Though we'll never get that dl speed for sure sweat.gif

when nationwide LTE fully cover, it will be back to congestion issue like what happen in 2G and 3G,.. in over crowded area,..

plus not all signal tower/ base station will have high LTE capacity,.. if user connect to those tower,.. when LTE capacity full, u will be still connect to 3G instead of 4G,..( happening to our neighbour country Singapore LTE now )...
