QUOTE(blacktubi @ May 28 2013, 11:51 PM) Anyway if you want to know 2600Mhz is spotty, 2600Mhz got lower signal penetration compared to 1800Mhz btw at some place i can register into 1800mhz. but signal very weak. all place also. it register and disappear. then got back. 3 different places, same, 1 bar signal then hilang. This explains why |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 30 2013, 12:39 AM) I thought the 1800 tower in my area is slowly restoring, now back to slow speed. bersyukurlah sis Only that 1800 can help me to get more than 40Mbps. Aargh I miss my fast speed. Just now 1800 can get 27Mbps, I was so happy. Temporarily only, now back to 15Mbps. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 31 2013, 11:58 AM) I takut after I flashed no more LTE. dunno but mine still same, detect but cannot connect.. My previous experience with firmware flashing wasn't a pleasant one. QUOTE(blacktubi @ May 31 2013, 12:06 PM) yeah, but if from 11.433.57 i think almost the same..only if u using lower version than that will notice gains in singal.. QUOTE(xphr3ak @ May 31 2013, 12:26 PM) Per IDM (max speed). nope.. this baby i dont supercharge or tweak anything.. im using nescafe aluminium can to boost some signal Before : ~1xxkbps Now : ~6xxkbps and speed stable somemore. Did you supercharge your E398? Mind to share the settings? Thanks. Thanks. |

just wanna share something.
so, i chat with network ppl in tweeter. he currently doing site testing at sabah. from his pictures i see that he doing site testing for both maxis and celcom around malaysia . i ask about the testing, he said the testing only allow staff and vip to connect to tower. so incase u can see lte but cannot connect, that site might be still in testing mode and not open publicly |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ May 31 2013, 10:20 PM) Huawei E3276, come with a Huawei self developed HiLink chip ah, while searching for firmware for e398 i came across that model. i tot older model lol Signal reception - Latency - Performance + This is the comparison to E398. Can't blame the signal, E398 is very scary on signal reception Maybe Huawei will release a firmware soon to boost the power amplifier |

QUOTE(air_pull91 @ Jun 1 2013, 02:27 PM) I dont think my area supprt 4g lte at the moment..so there no need for me to buy 4g modem...correct me if im wrong.. wrong anyway, thanks 4 the info..still learning from forumer here.. LTE is expanding now, plus lte modem cost abit higher only if u only using it at home, get urself e398+router. if u always on the move, get Sierra mifi 760S (well abit pricy) |
