Wii as in "We". I think Nintendo has it's reasons of naming it "Wii". Almost the same thing happened when the NDS was first announced, most people predict predicted it as a total "Failure" saying that it's wierd for a handheld having dual screens.

Well, in any case this is just the "begining". I'm sure Nintendo still have yet to fully unreveal the Wii.
