bro, wat is the diff between Haswell i3 and  i3-3220?, and when it will be available ah?..
*
Haswell i3 rumoured to launch within Q4 this year. Haswell has better clock to clock spped advantage, better IGP and more efficient toward Ivy Bridge.

Hello ,

would like to ask difference between Zotac Gtx 770 AMP! and non AMP!

should i buy the non-amp version and overclock myself ?

Or is there actually some hardware differences between these two card that resulted in better cooling for the AMP! version.

BTW thanks to mave and techhouse who answer my rig question before
=]
*
Factory pre-overclocked, thats all. U could save about 100 buck going for reference clock GTX770, your cal bro. smile.gif

No idea bro, your cal. If u're not rushing for new rig, maybe u should. tongue.gif

My bad didn't saw your budget quotation, yup HD 7790 like rav3n82 mentioned would be the best u can have.

Hi sifu's! I am a newbie in building gaming rig. However, have been watching gaming build set ups on utube and i am kinda interested.

I'd want a gaming rig that could play Crysis 3 without any hiccups, and I assume that if it could play that, then it could most probably play anything we throw at it. Although, this is just my noob perspective.

My budget is as follows, rm4.4k, but thats simply because i wanted a big 27 inch monitor.

I wonder if im really getting a bang for buck if i spend about 3.4k on the main items.

Not into OCing, but somehow, I feel like having am aftermarket cpu cooler just to.. urmm.. i feel safer if i have a better cooler for my cpu.

The only reason im choosing an 8 core processor is because im into editing as well. Do a lot of video editing, and frustrated when my current laptop just crashes. Theres even a possibility of it crashing when I plug in my POD UX2 to play guitar.

500w is kinda overpush for GTX770, grab yourself a Rosewill Hive 650w Modular @ rm280 or Seasonic S12II 620w @ rm299 for more juices.

Hello sifus , thanks for all the help before, but...

Before i set out and buy my rig im suddenly in a new dilemma...

1)should i really buy the reduced cost rig ive posted before or should i go with my original rig *the 4670k

2)the difference is around rm600 should i be so stingy about 600 ringgit or should i just spent it on what i originally want to get the satisfying feeling.. =.= ya know?

3)why do i want to cut the cost in the first place ? Well actually i have no problem with my budget heck i can even do a rm5k rig if i want to but my reasoning is that future proofing is impossible.Even if i buy the best now in 2-3years time it will just be obsolete.Furthermore the price to pay for futureproofing is exponentially unreasonable price-perf ratio.

I require sifus thought on this matters before i set out and buy my rig.

Im sorry that im asking other people to make decision for me but im sure sifus judgement is better as im just an unexperienced noob. =p
*
Well bro, i am in the same side with u on this, satisfaction on money i spend (not overly spend thou).

The original build u quote is OC and Sli ready in case u need more powehhh in future (who knows u need it tongue.gif ).

And if u wanna go that way,

i5-4670k rm725
G.Skill Ares 4gbx2 2133mhz RAM rm265
MSI Z87-GD45 Gaming rm589
WD Caviar Blue 1tb rm189
*Optional* Plextor M5S 128gb SSD rm309
Zotac GTX770 2gb AMP! rm1499
LiteOn DVD Writer rm59
Seasonic S12II 620w rm299 or Rosewill Hive 650w Modular rm280
Cooler Master Hyper 212X rm125
Cooler Master USP 100 rm189 *As u choose*

Total : rm3939 w/o SSD

Nice recommendation, i guess i should just go with most satisfying =)

Btw is rosewill a good brand ? It seems cheap for modular?
*
Rosewill Hive is a fantastic PSU with very attractive price, 1 thing they lack here is distributor but Gbros or Idealtech do carry them here. smile.gif

thx mavezai.  biggrin.gif

I have some questions. What is the different using the Enermax psu 550w or FSP Hexa 500w?
Is it ok instead using the Zotac  GTX760 i replace to Leadtek Winfast GTX650 ?
Intel i5 4430 and i5-4570 can explain the different between both? because some of recommendation always around this two i5 processor.

sry too many question hehe..anyone also can help me verify  icon_question.gif
*
If u wish to use Leadtek GTX Winfast 650 Ti Boost and are planning on cost cutting, might as well settle with FSP Hexa 500w, basically Enermax and FSP different are...more wattage to power your rig. laugh.gif

Difference of i5-4430 and 4570 just base on clock speed both processor carry. But for 50 bucks different, would recommend u to go on with 4570. biggrin.gif
