Kinda extreme build, maybe should have set up an SSD instead still can improve... but 1st.. what's your usage?
i thought i already put it up there, the plextor 128gb ssd. its for many usage, 3D rendering, video editing, gaming, more like all in one so u have any other suggestion or comments ?

Oh yes, my mistake, looks to be all rounded though if you're looking to save maybe you could do with a Gtx670 and having more RAM?? cause you're gonna be editing videos, and is OC-capability necessary?? cause if not, you can get away with a Xeon and a cheaper mobo as well

More RAM is true. Btw, he already has a watercooler, doubt he would have put it in unless he already plans to OC. I'd suggest not going the GTX680. This is just me but a GTX780 from newegg will only cost 2k+. if you're really looking for a super-high-end build, that's the way to go.

wouldn't recommend that. Haswell is to be announced in June, who knows when you will get them here. Unlike the GTX780 which has already been released. If you don't like waiting there are already a few local resellers who are already selling them... At a premium, of course.
They can't beat me so they call me Cheater. oh silly

It's definitely going to cost you. Which is why I buy most of my GPUs directly from newegg, that and because there are no longer any resellers for EVGA in M'sia. My rig(in my sig) is pretty dated, and i'm saving up for a new one, with a GTX780 in it sometime next year.
Again, I only suggest this because I assume you'd want a rig that would last you a few years. If not, the 680 would do perfectly fine.

yeah, but too bad im in east mas atm...after buy + postage also around same price
as for the monitor, how about AOC monitors? thk their 23" is like rm100 cheaper than dell's... anyone has experience with that before?
i even saw lingloong selling msi R7970 for rm1379 but not sure if the shop here supplying msi brand
No experience with aoc monitor. Most local shops in Sarawak didnt carry msi products, except miri side if not mistaken. Wonder why AMD build, Intel build is outperform AMD in terms of gaming.

hmm...actually i was comparing between i5 3570k + AsRock Z77 Extreme 3 and fx8350 + AsRock 990FX
intel set here costs rm1130 and amd set costs rm1030...tho amd consumes more power right?
and also amd is better with multi tasking?
im still not 100% certain...

Most processors nowadays are capable of multi-tasking, just depends on how heavy on personal usage. You only may benefit from the extra cores from amd fx8350 if your programs need more processing power/speed. When comes to gaming, both OC'ed i5 3570k vs FX8350. i5 stands most win in gaming performance.
However, AMD do offer slightly cheaper because of the mobo price. But, amd mobo doesnt support latest pcie 3.0 that may benefit in future. And amd mobo needs at least dual slot x16 mode pciex16 slots for better multi-gpu scaling.

Multitasking just depends on how fast your CPU is. I use intel myself, and the 3570k only allows you to overclock it. If you don't plan on OCing, the i5 3570 will do fine, and it's cheaper too.
