hey gentlemen,

Have a small concern before getting inspira 2.0p
Let's assume proton stop the inspira production in 2014, are the spare parts easily available for another 8 years - 10 years?

Can we source them from mitsubishi?

Bro...japanese cars sparepart will not be too hard to find, especially now u have an alternative to choose from Mitsubishi parts and Proton parts.....so far all major parts that i enquire before(altenator, water pump, kompressor, condenser, fan, windscreen and headlamps) are all available a phonecall away. If you drive cars like Naza Sutera or Chevvy then you might face parts problem as i've seen before Naza Sutera rear brake pump KO need 1 day to despatch parts from Naza official parts provider. Proton...dun worry bro...

If and only if they are still producing.yes.. Mitsu parts

Thank you for the prompt reply smile.gif

I was holding my decision since mitsu lancer was introduced back in 2007, which is 7 years back from now. Worried about the sustainability for another 8 to 10 years in future, as I do not plan change car in near future.

Seems like it is still worthwhile to get in now? hmm.gif

Convince me more bro drool.gif blush.gif

please buy vios... confirm no regret

Hi, vios is not in my list from the first day of hunting car.

My hunting list:
Inspira 2.0P
Civic 9th gen 1.8
Altis 10.5gen 1.8e
no korean and conti for now, part of parent's objection and unknown resale value.

I have done quite some study into the three,

Inspira has the most value to price ratio. Despite the brand and QC it has on par space as civic (altis is slight smaller), almost identical FC as civic (altis is great in FC), black interior (i prefer black).

Civic has the greatest resale value among the three, great speedometer and futuristic interior looking.

Altis has the best FC among the three, but the new generation of altis coming soon (cant wait for it that long).

As I confined my selection among the three only.
For now I quite bias to the Inspira (7k discount looks attractive), and I like the dashboard/meter layout design also (maybe others will find my feel strange ) and quite reasonable resell value?(study some in mudah.my)

Btw I am not a badge guy, but practical suitable in my daily life.
I am living at JB area, 4 family members including me.

Appreciate any comments smile.gif

Comfort wise....if you're using to ferry your family i think this car is very comfortable....the only thing is your inlaw might ask why you no go buy Toyota or Honda  nod.gif  nod.gif  my previous ride was a 2002 Proton Wira 1.3 GLi so it's a major jump for me. Maintenance wise...you're still maintaining an 120k Mitsu Lancer, problem of the ride....i don't think there's much lar unless you're going to join our TT weekly then you risk FIXING your car alot...i've been driving the Inspila for 60k KM for now.....all good and sweet!  thumbup.gif  No major issue...only minor ones like sound coming from a few parts of your car (inherited from Lancer)...all of these you can refer to page 1....if you wan performance improvement upgrade (eg. REMAP) you'll need to drive down to PJ....we indeed have a member in Muar who drives down once in awhile and join our big family for some TCSS session. Looking forward to see you....
