QUOTE(mikehuan @ Jun 5 2013, 02:53 PM) Actually they advice you that because that's the requirement for the loan. More than one third you need guarantor if not mistaken. But kinda depends on the loan officer I think The need for a guarantor or collateral is to mitigate the risk of the buyer defaulting on the loan.

QUOTE(shelby_yong @ Jun 5 2013, 03:08 PM) ohhh shit for me ad.. i use 30% for the car.... and going to settle it on 5 years.. and now for houses.. is almost impossible for me ad.. your collateral is the house lol. value of the house will be greater than your loan anyway. you'll jz have a lower disposable monthly income

QUOTE(stewPik @ Jun 5 2013, 06:57 PM) 4k is a lot...IF you have the money in hand now........question is do you ? u take loan cuz u dun have it in the 1st place...for most common ppl la....like me....so if everyday i give you rm1 a day for 1 year = rm365 a year BUT you will curse me saying why i give you rm1...'u think i begger ah'...will u see the value of the rm1 ? but if i give you one time rm365, u will be damn bloody happy right? and you will be thanking me non stop.....get the logic here ??? 15years ? please find me a bank that will give me 15years HP loan...i apply now.... i'm arguing on the premise that it's better to take a shorter loan. so if i were to take a shorter loan, i'll pay a little bit more a month, but then i'll save 4k in the long run and for cut short my loan tenor by 2 whole years which i wont have to pay anything. so taking your argument, you seem to think that in the long run you're better off paying less in the present (now) but end up paying more in the long run :hmm if there's no inflation. your idea will be totally incorrect. however, the rate of inflation is less than the total interest paid. so....

QUOTE(l3ryan @ Jun 7 2013, 12:05 PM) At titan now upgrading my front shocks.. after driving quite some while with my current 6 5 setup, I concluded I've gone as far as the rear is concerned as there's already passengers complaining about the ride behind.... But the front I think I still can go 1 setting harder.. how long does it take you? one full day?

to you guys who always go dyno after mod, it might be more worth it to get a tactrix cable and install virtual dyno on your laptop. virtual dyno works by calculating your rate of acceleration and plots a dyno graph for you to compare. but you'd need an empty straight road for this purpose and you'd need to keep the logs for previous runs.
virtual dyno is very consistent based on my previous logs
