hi everyone .... did anyone of u ever change the stock player to aftermarket and install by yourself ?

i just wondering, how to match the wiring harness color codes? same colors are fine, but what about those colors that are not the same?

me using pioneer player ..... any help?

u need to trace a few wires.

1. Battery - 2 connector in ur car .. the MORE WIRE one .. CONNER wire (Red with white in center)
2. ACC  - the MORE WIRE CONNECTOR .. CONNER (another conner same row with the no1 wire) .. Blue with red in center
3. Ground (not available on our inspira) .. juz wire the ground to any SCREWS that connected to ur car body.
If you are using and AMP .. Ignore the followings

MORE WIRE CONNECTOR ONLY
1. Front Left (+) - White (blue center)
2. Front Left (-) - Black (yellow center)
3. Front Right (+) - White (red center)
4. Front Right (-) - Black (red center)
5. Rear Left (+) - Yellow (blue center)
6. Rear Left (-) - Grey (blue center)
7. Rear Right (+) - Yellow (red center)
8. Rear Right (-) - Grey (red center)

Additional wires ..

1. Reverse signal input (tap it to ur reverse lamp) - can be found near glove box wiring
2. Amp on wire .. wire to ur amp if necessary (pioneer one is blue white if i remember correctly)
my advice... go do at accessories shop la!

INSPIRA only have these 2 connector behind the deck ..

There are few common wires which whatever Headunit will required.

1. Batt (12 v) .. constant even when ignition is off. This is to use to preserve the memory and the running clock. Connect this to pin 30 (Red-White).

2. Ignition (12v) .. this power comes on when ignition is turn on. This is to power on the headunit. connect to pin 21 (Blue-Red)

3. Ground (-) . This is the return point of the power. Suppose to be pin 40 (black) but inspira wiring is NOT CONNECTED. So you just have to connect the Ground (your headunit) to the car chassis ..any screw will do (must be touching the chassis)

SPEAKERS

FL (+) - pin 28 (White - Blue)
FL (-) - pin 38 (Black - Yellow)

FR (+) - pin 26 (White - Red)
FR (-) - pin 36 (Black - Red)

RL (+) - pin 27 (Yellow - Blue)
RL (-) - pin 37 (Grey - Blue)

RR (+) - pin 25 (Yellow - Red)
RL (-) - pin 35 (Grey - Red)
If you are connecting a 3rd party steering controller module ..
You will require to tap in pin 22 and pin 32.

if you require to power up the amp. u can try pin 24 first ,if it does not work use pin 21 as well. Warning . this is just to signal the amp to wake up. Not the actual power line. you should connect the actual power line from battery to your amp.
