my proton SC (that can accept to service my lala without the voucher) have no sexperience to change cvt oil he said he will try ask his pomen first

according to lancer, 40k.... so mine will oni change at 50k coz last time too late edi
i got no free voucher, lost edi.. my oni hopes is this SC that can accept to service my car without voucher coz they serviced my car several times edi 

i just changed my CVT oil 2 weeks ago, they gave me 5 liters of it, but i think they got left over from the last bottle so i'm guessing around 4.something liters required...
supposedly is 60k, but i did mine at 50k few weeks ago...

See the chart, CVT 6 litres RM270.20 (RM45/litre). That seller want to sell you RM220 for 4 litres (RM55/litre). More expensive rite?

Btw most of us used about 5 litres or less (except poadster's cvt which can drink 7 litres).

See the aircond filter more expensive than air filter. Iridium sparkplug price...

Air cleaner / filter for aircond blower. Air filter is the one in the engine bay. 2 diff filters.

i bought from this guy several times before.. sumtimes his price is cheap, but sumtimes is better to buy from my nearest spare part shop (taking into consideration of traffic jam & distance etc etc)

Ok...i just did my CVT oils, feels great after the change but a few things to take note :

1) I went to a few service center....apparently they are unaware our Proton Inspira uses Mitsubishi Diaqueen CVT Fluid-J1 4 Liter Can (P/N: S0001401), some service center I went show me a Proton CVT Fluid in 1 liter packaging with different part number. Of course i went away and consulted my mechanic about this.

2) Some of you starts to thing....is it 4 liter or 6 liter?

According to mechanic, if you just unplug the bolt and DRAIN the used oil out from the bottom of your gearbox, you will need a 4 liter can...which my mechanic show me by draining my used CVT fluid to an empty engine oil bottle which is 4 liter.

More CVT fluid is needed if you were to FLUSH... it means they will use some machine to circulate the used oil and replace it with new oil therefore need almost double the amount because the CVT Fluid in your CVT Radiator will be flushed out and refilled with new ones too therefore you need more.

I dunno what method will the service center "flush" your CVT....so be careful of it's just draining then make sure they charge you the drain price not the flush price.

Therefore...if flush means 99% new fluid and drain means you still have some old fluid remaining .

3) The Mitsubishi Diaqueen CVT Fluid J1 is roughly around RM220 on the market out there...but in proton's list(based on proton-edar.com.my) it's around RM177.40 for 4 liters. So double confirm on the fluid they use...no harm asking right?

Woooo.. i thought just send to SC then ok, now need to find special Mitsu fluid some more..  Can i just send to the Proton SC and bring the Mitsu fluid then would be ok  right?

Never go to Proton SC. Wanna share a recent experience with you guys.

I had a 3rd free service, so I sent it to the Mutiara Dsara PLATINUM SC. Appointment at 9, they took my keys at 9.30, I saw my car finished service and someone parked it outside at 11.30. Went to the counter to wait patiently. At 12 I approached the rep to ask him to quickly process my receipt. He said wait 5 mins. I waited 10 mins and approached him again. He said wait another 2 mins. I waited 5 mins and went again. He asked me to sit down and processed it straight away. If your maths is good, you'll notice that it's now 12.15.

My keys were sitting on the table (in a blue file) for a good 45 mins. Every car that is done servicing will have it's keys and invoice sitting in a blue file. They just pile it on top of each other and the rep stupidly take the top one first. So the cars that finish first end up paying last. How fucuking stupid are they.

So he went to print out the receipt. I noticed they didn't give me my 3rd free service and charged me for labour. Got him to cancel that. NVM BILL ME WRONGLY.

Noticed also the oil was super cheap. Asked him if that's fully synthetic oil. He was like shit i forgot to enter that into the system. fucuk the 3rd mistake of the day. He was begging me to please accept the semi syn oil. I was really pissed at this guy but I don't wanna wait for another hour at this stupid place so I said okay forget it. He offered to give me free service the next time I go, but I said I don't wanna come here anymore.

Paid and left.

After a week, noticed a huge puddle of oil underneath my car. Went to my regular mechanic, suspected that the SC didn't tighten the oil plug. TRUE ENOUGH THEY DIDN'T. My mechanic could even unscrew it with his fingers. Not even that, the oil filter was also damn loose.

Seriously what the fucuk is wrong with them?? Mutiara Damansara PLATINUM SC for you.

I know which bay my car was at.. does that help? but i they should know (have recorded down) which foreman took my car.
