anyone knows an effective method to remove rust from metal? i believe that the rust is slightly deep, but has not eaten into the metal too much

Sound concept, but their magnets are too weak to be of any use....imagine some users report the magnetrap fell of their oil filter after some time, somemore so damn expensive.

If you wanna magnetize your oil filter, use something strong like harddisk magnets.

This is the exact reason that car manufacturers recommends you to CHANGE filter with every oil change.... so that the filter will not get clogged up too much if ran for 5K or 10K....

Unless you plan to use your filter and not change oil every 5K to 10K, then maybe using this will help... a little...

But does it justify the cost of the magnets initially.... your money your choice lor...
