kia rio, suzuki swift, or preve cfe sedan? all same price, RM73k

i'm able to trade in my old hyundai for 8k + 5.5k rebate for preve, so i only pay 59k for the car

did you regret buying the ascent?

didn't buy it... my dad did . 1st car in the family. from when i was standard 6 till now in uni

overall it's a fun car la.... handling not bad, power wise also not bad, can overtake current dugong. but the fuel consumption really and overall built quality is also not that good, lacking on features as well


now my dad somehow already have negative perception towards korean cars, his view is "look nice but may not last long enough down the road" . so the kia rio is very less likely to be considered by him, but if there's good reason i can convince him then he may change his mind

yeah i talk to quite a few korean car buyers from the past, all like got their hand burnt by the kettle effect.. dem sked liao.. when i said consider looking at the latest korean, they were like telling me, you better think again..

mine using 4AT... is 2004 model, not the facelift

but still very bising, can hear whining sound from gb and also engine roaring sound throughout the cabin, soundproof is totally 0

but from preve thread seems many complaint bout the cvt whining sound. for me should be ok since the accent already a nightmare when comes to nvh, anything better is enough for me

bro, if u insist on getting a proton ,i would suggest you give the insaplah a look. i sat in my fren's car before, feels good and looks good, well worth the 80k-90k price. other wise, go for civic
