Hi, my car (myvi) have been 7 years already, and now which car polish wax suitable for me?
thanks.

Polish is polish.

Wax is wax.

Polish contains abrasive compound to remove dead oxides paints, minor scratches and not to be used often.

Wax is to give protection. No problem if used on every car wash.

Polish go for Soft99

Wax go for Kit

Washing go for Waxco

Ok. so polish is need to go for car repair shop or we can use by hand?

I prefer DIY but tiring. Get those polishing machine to remove polish and wax.

Polishing is like detail work, waxing is just apply and leave it to dry.

Owh so it's ok if we wax on every car wash? Before this I thought wax will remove the original protection layer of paint.

Wax is protection. No harm.

Polish is to revive the paint if it's dull and dead (if it's too bad than cannot be saved even by polish). It removes the clear coat abit hence that's why it can remove minor scratches and prolong use it do damage.

Respraying car can cost around RM1200 - RM1600 for outside painting for Waja size and RM1600 - RM2000++ for internal and external. More expensive if got dents, rust holes and misalignment panels. Better paint also can cost more like pearl and glitter mixture.

No wonder my monthly waxing failed to cover all the scratches. Thanks for your explanation bro, appreciate it much. Now I understand what's wax and polish, better than read wall of text.

Even a non metallic paint cost that much? one layer spray?
*
Non metallic will be cheaper but unsure since my last non metallic car was 9 years ago and I didn't even get the chance to respray it to non metallic since i sold it and purchase metallic paint car. White is best non metallic colour and Toyota's white is the best white I fancy (on the latest Altis).

No prob on the explanation.
