Planning to go to macau early of Oct - solo trip. Not interested with the casino. I believe there should be much more in Macau - not only the casino. Plan to take AirAsia first flight of the day to Macau and take the first flight of the day back to KL. Planning date is 10 Oct - 14 Oct. Planning for a trip which I do not have to rush around. Any advise for me?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Feb 14 2012, 01:50 AM) DO NOT go in the first week of october. Macau will be packed with mainland people as they will be having a long public holiday. Casinos not only for gambling, there are others attraction like shows and performances too. Is it the National Day of the People's Republic of China? It's on 1st and 2nd of Oct. So, going there on 10th Oct should be okay?

Finally bought the ticket... 21 Nov - 25 Nov since all earlier date that I prefer to travel have no promo price. RM 306 for round trip but the fuel surcharge and tax costed 50% of the total price. Crossing my finger and praying hard that there'll be no last minute work commitment. If not, habis lah my ticket...

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Feb 16 2012, 10:10 AM) The shows seems interesting. But I think I can only afford the category C tickets. What does the number on the seat plan means? Any dress code? This post has been edited by ken_zie: Feb 16 2012, 07:16 PM

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 3 2012, 07:03 PM) RM250 and below if that's possible. As long as it's clean, safe and located at a convenient location. At first thought of trying Auguster Lodge. But after researching around, afraid that might not be a really good idea. Maybe will try for 1 or 2 nights but definately will not stay for 4 nights at there. I'll be going to macau from 21 nov - 25 nov. Staying for 4 night. Will be travelling solo. It's convenient to stay in the Macau city or recommended to stay at other places?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 15 2012, 12:45 PM) Where do you plan to stay? macau is not big, most hotels are concentrated at the city area. Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel or Towns Well Hotel. I think these 2 hotels are quite new. It's located at city area. QUOTE(maru @ Jul 15 2012, 02:01 PM) macau is boring place to travel unless u like to gamble & drink its men heaven ^^ just stay city I believe there's more than gambling and drinking in Macau.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 15 2012, 02:55 PM) the locations of these two still within walking distance to the focus point of the city area. good rates? Quite expensive (for me). RM300++ including tax. But, it seems like that's the average rate in Macau.
