i'm planning for a trip to Macau this coming December.. is the place worth going in the sense that there are lots of interesting places for sight-seeing, shopping etc.?
anyway, does anyone know which hotels are near to the city and the rooms are in good condition with a reasonable price?
i'm probably taking the air-asia hotel package.. not sure if it's cheaper than if I book the hotel separately on my own...
please help! smile.gif

QUOTE(stimix @ Oct 12 2009, 02:28 PM) Macau is good for 2D1N only very small city. surrounded by bigger Zhuhai (Well 15yrs ago Zhuhai is smaller than macau..haha) Shopping is lousy & not as cheap as HK or China. & Almost no street vendors (Like HK - Lady street & Temple St or Zhuhai nite bazzar, Shenzhen Dongmeng area).... The best of Macau compare wth China & Hong Kong is it's Portuguese history & heritage. If u luv history, Macau is the palce. & if u are a gambler, this is also the place...+ the food...should try the portuguese fried rice...nice... thanks for the info.. do you know which hotel is located in the city and in good condition with a reasonable price?
